The imagery...
The road is narrow... "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." Matthew 7:14
The cross... "And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so
that we might die to sin and live to righteousness,

The cloud... It is not a coincidence that the
cloud is three clouds, yet one. It is also intentional that
it hangs out ahead, just down the road.
"The Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the
way..." Exodus 13:21
